Debbie McQuinn stem cell transplant

Hi, my name is Jessica. I'm starting this fundraiser for my mother (pictured left) Debbie LaBuz McQuinn. Around the end of 2020 my mother started to notice issues with her gait, pain in leg, rib pain. After rib fractures presented on an x-ray, followed by a bone scan, it was then her MD thought she may have metastatic breast cancer. Appointments were made with oncology in Oneida, NY and then Roswell Park in Buffalo, where more specific blood tests were done along with a bone marrow biopsy and mom got a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma (late 2021) She has since in the past year completed her oral treatment consisting of oral chemotherapeutic drugs as well as intravenous bone strengthening treatments and radiation. She handled the treatment well and is the most courageous person I know. She leaves tomorrow (7/20) for Buffalo, where she will spend the next 10 days back and forth to Roswell Park for stem cell collection. Her husband, Steven has been by her side and will be with her during the next week or two in Buffalo. Mom will be going home after her ten days but will be heading back there soon after to complete the second part of her transplant. She will have to stay inpatient for a longer period of time, possibly up to 6 weeks (or more) while receiving this treatment. If you are able to donate to make this a little easier for my mom and Steven it would be greatly appreciated. My mother has a heart of gold, would do anything for anyone. I'm wishing for this treatment to go as smooth as possible.
