My name is Kathleen and I am Debbie’s cousin. Debbie is the daughter of Eddy and Carol(diseased) Larade and wife of Troy MacDonald. I started this go fund me page for Debbie. Debbie has been in Toronto for the last two months having tests to see if she qualifies for a lung transplant. As of today March 16, she s officially on the transplant waitlist. There is no way of knowing how long she will wait for a match. It could be as little as a month or over a year. Debbie and Troy are renting an apartment close to the Toronto General Hospital and must stay in Toronto until she gets lungs and for three months afterwards. As you can imagine, this can get expensive as she still has house expenses at home here in NewWaterford as well. Although the NS Government does help with the cost of rent , it doesn’t cover it all and there are other expenses as well to live in Toronto for this time. I am hoping this go fund me will help ease the expenses she has to pay. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
