Debbie Kinder's Breast Cancer Fight
The Kinder family were notified by Debbie's doctors that she had breast cancer in 2018 and to prepare for the fight of their lives…their son lived in Indiana so it was just Debbie and her husband Robert. As she continued to fight with all her might they were given some gut wrenching news..... it was metastatic breast cancer and she was in stage 4. Their only child and son Dodd Kinder came home for a holiday and they shared the news with him, being in his late 20's and their only child he decided it was best to leave his life in Indiana and move back to Lexington to help his father care for his mother. After 3 years of Debbie going through all different types of cancer treatments the husband secretly had to make a financial decision which was pay for his diabetic medicine or her chemo. He justified not taking his medicine by telling his family he had lost so much weight he didn’t need his medicine anymore. Sadly Debbie's husband Robert Kinder passed away on August 12,2021 at the age of 60. Their son Dodd (who is 29 years old) is now taking care of his mother by himself, between her treatments and medical care and working full time to support them as best as he can they need HELP!!! They not only have his mother Debbie's medical bills but they also have his fathers who just passed away. Anything donated will go towards necessities such as their monthly utility bills( gas, water, electric) food and daily basic needs. This family has given so much to their Lexington Kentucky community and their Waterford neighborhood that its time for us to rally around and help them!
