Debbie Goodridge Physio Fees

As many of you know Debbie was admitted to hospital in May 2021 and was found to have contracted meningitis which caused a large infection on Debbie's spinal cord.

Debbie spent six months in hospital battling this infection.

This infection has damaged the nerves in the spinal cord and Debbie is not currently able to stand unaided and is not able to walk.

Since coming home Debbie has battled hard to get physiotherapy from the NHS but this has taken time to organise.

Whilst waiting for the NHS physio, Debbie was referred to Neurokinex, a rehabilitation centre in Hemel Hempstead, who are specialists in providing activity based neurological rehabilitation.

Debbie has benefited massively from this rehab but it does come at a cost of 70.00 per session.

We have been able to find funds so far to cover the sessions Debbie has attended but it is becoming more difficult as time goes on to cover these costs.

As Debbie is improving her mobility all the time and her physio is aiming to get her standing shortly we want to raise funds for another 30 sessions so that Debbie can get the maximum benefit from this rehab.

We fully appreciate that money is tight for many people at this time but if you can help us out it would be really appreciated.

All the money raised will go towards the rehab sessions.
