Debbie Garrison's Cancer Surgery and Treatment

Debbie was recently diagnosed with uterine cancer and needs to have surgery for a full hysterectomy and, based on pathology results from that surgery, may need to undergo follow-on treatment such as chemo or radiation. She and her husband Clayton (my brother) do not have health insurance to cover the cost of her care. Debbie was quoted a cost of more than $50,000 for just the surgery and pathology.

Anyone who knows Debbie and Clayton knows they have dedicated their lives to serving and trusting God for all their financial needs. They have served in various ministries and moved throughout the country to go wherever God has called them. Along the way, they have touched many people’s hearts and lives, probably including your own. As the sister watching from afar I was always amazed at their Faith particularly around God meeting their basic needs … in His time. They have been such a role model for me and helped me to grow in my own faith; I would get so nervous and concerned that they wouldn’t get their house sold before they had to move or that they were moving without knowing yet what their salary would be, but EVERY SINGLE TIME, God would send a miracle just in time. This health crisis is no different. They have been faithful in their prayer, waiting for God’s guidance on finding the right doctor and knowing He will provide the means when the time comes.

I have seen the outpouring of support Debbie and Clayton have received over the last 35 years in the form of prayer, finances, housing, transportation, and more and know in my heart that the people they’ve ministered to will rally now as well.
