Our dear friend and sister Debbi has been quietly fighting her battle with stage 2 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Debbi has been a very pivotal person in our Yoga community. Debbi continues to help us & guide us on our journeys teaching /working still holding the light for her students everyday while doing her daily radiation treatments. If we can only imagine how tiring this must be and the toll on her body. This has been taking place for weeks now and will continue 4 more weeks (update: She’s dealing with really bad side effects which she doesn’t talk much about and pain in under arm lymph nodes. Debbi is still working but is preparing for the last 3 weeks of treatment that will be the hardest and won’t be able to). Debbi is such a strong woman this is her 2nd time fighting and doesn’t tell anyone or complain. She is the definition of a strong woman and true Yogi. In looking through pictures of Debbi I can’t help but notice every picture of her and her friends, she has her gigantic beautiful smile & laughing in each picture. She is joy & light! She is so deeply loved by all. I asked Debbi if she would mind that I put together this GoFundMe as I know she has been very private. She humbly agreed. She has helped so many of us along our life journeys it’s time we help her. We need her! We need her light! I asked her what amount would help, she modestly said 2-3 months of her living expenses would help her. The medical co pays are high but she is able to make payment arrangements. Lets try and help make this easier on her.
