On August 18, Liz Bearce will be running the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of our good friend Debbie Selleck. As some of you know, Debbie has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Currently, Debbie is undergoing treatment to fight this disease. She is very ill from the chemotherapy, but, in true Debbie fashion, she has maintained the most positive attitude possible.
As a lifelong Falmouth resident and 1986 graduate of Falmouth High School, Debbie has worked on Falmouth Harbor for 32 years. This diagnosis hit her hard and took her out of work leading up to and during her busiest summer months. She is always willing to do for others, so let’s all pitch in and help her out in her time of need.
Debbie loves the Falmouth Road Race and Liz is so happy to be running on her behalf this year – we ask you to please consider a donation to help Debbie out while she battles this awful disease. All money raised will go directly to Debbie for bills and expenses.
