Deb Stanze House - Home Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
On Thanksgiving evening, November 23, 2023, Deb Stanze House's home was destroyed as a result of an electrical fire. Deb was out of town at the time. However, her adult son Eric was home asleep, but fortunately the fire department was able to get him out in time and he is okay.
The fire started at around 8 PM and took the fire department nearly an hour to get under control. The fire reignited overnight and the fire department returned to the home at 2:30 AM to contain the fire and prevent further damage to near by residences. The fire, along with extensive smoke and water damage, has ruined most of the inside of the home, as well as Deb and Eric's personal possessions.
Deb is working with the insurance company, fire inspector, and construction manager on next steps for her house. However, it will take quite some time to get it all sorted out. In the meantime, she is in an extended stay hotel and looking for a short-term furnished apartment to rent.
Since the house is a loss, Deb will eventually need to have everything replaced from couches and dishes to towels and bedding. Right now, the focus is on getting some clothing, shoes, and personal care items for both Deb and Eric.
Deb is such a kind and helpful person, and does so much for those around her. Please help support her and Eric and get them back on their feet. Any donation is sincerely appreciated, as is your help in spreading the word about this fundraiser.
