Hi All,
As some of you might know, my very dear friend Deb Jackson was caught in the massive flood of Lismore, Australia, last week. Floodwaters reached a peak of 14.7 meters (that's over 48 feet!) ,with water levels surpassing her rooftop and destroying her home completely.
Deb has spent the last 8 years working to start her own small business in Lismore in the signwriting industry and had most recently purchased a $30,000 printer, all of which unfortunately has now also been completely lost.
While her community, family and friends are helping to support her in rebuilding, we thought we would reach out to our community as well. As you can imagine, she has to start completely over again, needing clothing, shoes, a bed, furniture, tools, a computer, and the list goes on.
Deb is one of the kindest, hard-working and wholehearted people we know. It will
take time to build back up, not only for Deb for the entire community of
Lismore. If you can, please help us to give back to someone so very deserving. As Deb is tightly connected to other small business
owners in Lismore, any additional funds raised will go to help the overall
support and rebuild the community.
We got this!!
The pictures posted are of her house, and yes that is a container that floated into her backyard
