De'Avion's Journey to Graduate
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is De'Avion Emerson; I am a rising senior at Howard University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Topeka Ks, byway of Chicago, IL. I am a Certified Spiritual life coach with plans to become a Motivational Speaker, Mental Health Advocate, and certified Trauma Therapist.
My journey at Howard, although fruitful, has not been an easy one. I am the eldest of 8, supported by a single mother. Each semester, I have had to face the harsh reality of satisfying my semester’s bill while trying to pour my focus into my studies at the same time. Despite these challenges, I have maintained a 3.84 GPA.
At Howard, I have been actively involved in student life, serving as a hall representative in The Quad Council and vice president in The Axis Council. Additionally, I am a proud Target Scholar.
As the oldest child, it has always been my role to help provide. As a result, it has taken quite some time for me to gather up the courage to reach out for help. Now, I am turning to my community for assistance. I have an outstanding balance for the Summer 2024 term and Spring 2024 semester, equalling $5,000. Each and every donation will be put towards a bigger and brighter future for myself. Not only am I deeply grateful for any support I receive, but I am honored for you all to put your faith into my future. Your generosity will not go unnoticed, as I am committed to working hard to achieve my goals.
If you have any questions regarding my student account balance or would like to provide me with other assistance, don't hesitate to contact me!
