The Byrd family

Hi my name is Kami Whitmire. I’m raising funds for Ashley Byrd (Workman) and her family. Ashley is a loving mother, sister, friend, and wife. She is a friend to all and the most nurturing and caring person I have ever met. For 6.5 years she’s battled and actually been through rigorous treatments and overcame lymphoma. All while maintaining a strength that one can only describe as a warriors. In January 2023 she had pneumonia and the hospital noticed new nodules in her chest. Fast forward to after a few pretty positive pet scans to October 12th 2023 Ashley had been given her pet scan results showing that her lymphatic system was riddled with cancer that had progressed since three months prior. On December 8, 2023 Ashley found out that her cancer prognosis was 6 months or less. She has tried and natural remedies as well as almost every treatment available to cure her or prolong her illness. So far to no avail. At this point it has spread to her lungs. She is unable to do much due to being so tired from medications, breathing treatments, and O2 being constantly necessary. April 2nd, 2024 her Hospice nurse had given her a 2 week prognosis.

because this news was given I feel like completely necessary to ensure that her family is able to take the time that they need to spend with her without worrying about bills. Her household needs help with making up for her husbands lost wages and ensuring their children have food and shelter. If you can donate even a dollar I know that they would be grateful.
