Praveen Patnaik is 34 years old, recently died with Pneumonia due to negligence by hospitals . He had cough/fever and went to hospital on Monday, March 12th and couldn’t come back home.. He left 4 year old son, wife, his mom and sisters. He has been only bread winner in the family with many responsibilities over head while keeping calm and yet approachable for all.
Ill-treatment in Hyderabad made us lose this great cousin. They misdiagnosed with swine flu leaving him untreated. After noticing the oxygen and pulse getting collapsed, and identifying the illness as pneumonia, he was sent to three different hospitals. His journey on the road to these three hospitals passed by struggling with cough, increased blood pressure and minimum oxygen. Courage that his wife carried all the way with him to find the facility to help him couldn't help him to last long. In the bustling city Hyderabad, his wife ran around the hospitals on the scooter while Praveen struggling for oxygen in an ambulance is painstaking story that left us surprise and unspeakable.
His Facebook @Praveen Patnaik still accepts all sad and surprising messages from his family and friends but with no Praveen to reply. Praveen has always been there as a first one to approach for any help at any time of the day. With great endurance he stay up late to help anyone in need. Such endurance to help others did not let him survive leaving unforgettable memories and hard to accept truth and great responsibility on his wife.
He is the only son in his family who lost his father when he is 5yr old. Lived a poor life and always wished to give his son a better life far away from all the struggles he faced as a child. But, little that he knew, there is similar story for his son. His wife wants to make Praveen's dream come true but being a home maker after her marriage, getting back to work needs time and help. We are approaching our friends and family to help support his wife who wished to fulfill Praveen's dream to just give future to his son and not to leave him poor again.
Raised money will be used to pay off his hospital bills, funeral expenses, his wife and kid to survive in his absence. Family needs support until his wife finds a job to sustain and a young one to take care of basic necessities and his mom with medical needs. Every penny will be used for cause.
