Death Of Cat By Car

Hi, I'm sorry if the title of this fundraiser seems a bit dark and horrid. But that is truly what happened to my cat Buddy. This is why I am trying to raise money to have him cremated and also have his ashes turned into something that I can wear so he's always with me. To find out more, keep scrolling and if you don't want to see gory pictures please don't look as they are upsetting for me to even share.

On the 10th of April was the last time I saw him alive laying on my duvet with me keeping me company and also keeping me happy and smiling. The next day I woke up and Buddy wasn't on the bed which was very normal for me so I thought oh yeah he's probably off somewhere with other cats playing or laying in the sun. Then one of the neightbours knocks on the door and ask if we know anything about this dead cat in the road. My immediate reaction was to get up and see as hoping that it was not Buddy as he never goes anywhere near the road as that was always my biggest worry.

Whilst gazing at the dead cat body in the road, shock, horror and sadness came over me and I fell to my knees crying my eyes out. Seeing his dead body on the road was a new experience to. me as never lost someone in my personal life to death. Someone asked me how I knew it was Buddy and just said "I bought him this collar so know when he was nearby" but to never hear the bell ring or even see his face again is hurting me more and more every day in ways I can't explain.

4 days after he was buried, foxes dug him up, so i reburied him and then 2 days after that they came again. and I was so distraught by the sight os seeing his body that I held myself together.

Seeing him like that broke my heart in so many ways I can't express it. That is why I am wanting to raise this money to give him a real peaceful resting place.
