191 Bodies Left in Decomp - 1000 Still Not Acknowledged
Donation protected
My son, David, was killed while in crisis in 2019. His urn has traveled 450k miles with me all across the country in my fight for Justice for him, including marching at the Department of Justice in Washington D.C., and at the House of Representatives to testify on Law Enforcement Integrity. I found some peace in knowing he could be at rest, and found comfort in spreading his ashes in beautiful places he would have loved to have journeyed with me.
I received a call from the FBI Tuesday evening and my mind is absolutely reeling. My heart is broken beyond what I thought it already was. They are being very careful with releasing information and dont have a lot to give, so I can only share the little bit of information I have.
My son, David Jaxon Page, has been identified as being one of 200+/- bodies that were improperly stored and not cremated upon death. His body has now been removed and is being held in Fremont County under care of the coroner.
There is an ongoing federal investigation into this. I am and will be in direct contact with the FBI agent and the coroner, along with victims advocates and prosecutors. In fact, I will be meeting with an agent tomorrow to give them the urn I've carried for 4 years, thinking it was my child. They believe the remains to be those of an animal, as the company was also practicing taxidermy.
My son again needs to be laid to rest, which means I will be travelling to Colorado soon to have his memorial and recieve his true body.
There will be ongoing litigation between the criminal and civil actions. I will need help with travel expenses, or in relocating to be closer to the case and my family as well as the other victims.
As you can imagine, I am going to need some support through this - emotional, spiritual and financial. If you are able to help, please do so. If you aren't at this time, please keep our family on your hearts, specifically his brother and sister, grandma and halfmom.
