With profound sorrow and humble hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Mercy Mutisya Banks, who went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mercy was a woman of faith, love, and quiet strength. She faced her illness with grace, trusting God through every season of her journey. Even in her suffering, she remained a source of encouragement and kindness to those around her. Her life was a testimony of perseverance, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.

The Bible reminds us that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). As a family, we are leaning on God’s comfort and the promise of eternal life through Christ, even as we grieve this painful loss.

During this difficult time, we are humbly reaching out to friends, relatives, church members, and well-wishers to help us give Mercy a dignified and honorable farewell. We are raising funds to cover final arrangements, as these costs have placed a heavy burden on our family.

Any contribution whether financial support, prayers, or words of encouragement will mean more to us than we can express. No amount is too small, and every act of kindness brings us closer to laying our dear Mercy to rest with the honor she deserves.
