Funeral and Memorial Expenses for Dennis Peregrino


As you know, our dear friend Dennis passed away very unexpectedly on August 29th. As illustrated by the hundreds of comments and reactions online, Dennis was loved and respected by the entire LaQuinta Staff and family. 

Dennis has a brother in Aruba and a wife, daughter and son in the Philippines. He was eagerly looking forward to going back to see them for Christmas this year. He had not been back for many, many years due to the expense. 

Many of you have voiced your wishes to contribute help to Dennis’ family. The proceeds of this fund will be used in the following order

1 – Cover Dennis’ funeral and cremation expense in Aruba. We are in contact with his brother Rando in Aruba. It is believed at this time there will be a service in Aruba and that Dennis' cremains will be returned to his family in the Philippines.

2 – Fund a memorial plaque to be placed somewhere at LaQuinta in his memory. Our time at LaQuinta will not be the same without seeing Dennis.

3 – Balance of funds to go directly to Dennis’ family.

Everyone at LaQuinta has remarked about their friendship with Dennis…always smiling …always helpful and caring. He lovingly cared for the LaQuinta pets and made sure they had plenty of food and medical care when necessary. We are so saddened by this loss and hope than by easing the family’s financial burden, we can honor his life.
