Hello! My name is DeAsia Jones & I am a sophomore Biomedical Sciences major @ UAB. In helping to reach my goal of one day getting into medical school, I was accepted into a Shadow Abroad program. This is a pre-med program where students gain clinical experience by observing physicians in a different healthcare system & culture. I'll have the opportunity to study & learn Spanish in addition to volunteering within the communities. I'm raising funds to travel to South America during Summer 2026.
