**I updated my goal to reflect the amount still needed after paying for my passport and fundraising candy and crafts to make more money.
Hello, my name is Dearia Spicer, and I'm 13 years old. I run my own business, it's name is "Dearia's Crafts Galore," I sell many things including decorated mason jars as candle holders and other uses.
And now I've taken on a new challenge, I'm going to Japan for an exchange student program. I'm 1 out of 25 (maybe hundreds applied) Des Moines Public School students selected. In order to go on the trip payments are required, and me and my family got the idea to do several fundraisers that include this one, to help raising the money. With donations from you I can meet that goal, it doesn't matter the amount that you donate, I accept all amounts, so with this concluding statement I say, Thank you for reading and please donate.
**Note from Mom: I would like to first Thank You for reading this and say Thanks in advance for donating and sharing this link. Dearia is one goal oriented young lady, she not only has A/B average in school, she takes advanced courses at Central Campus' Prep Academy, plays the violin, piano, volleyball and a member of the debate team. Currently, she is practicing for a role in the Gospel Play "When the Gospel is Forgotten," and also just landed the lead role in the stage production of "Akeelah and the bee." When Dearia puts her mind to something she carries it out, I'm so proud of her and excited to see where life takes her. She is committed to this opportunity so we plan to do as many fundraisers as possible to help us raise the funds. We would so appreciate your donation of ANY AMOUNT. If you decide to donate of over $50.00 we would like to send you a photo collage of her trip.
Thank you so much for reading this until the end (lol), and for your donation.
