Dearest Joan’s Memorial

In loving memory of Joan Jeciel Baja, we are saddened to announce she passed from cancer on February 17th, 2021.  Joan dedicated her life to her son, husband, family, and friends. She also loved helping her community and worked as a Registered Nurse for almost 15 years at Centinela Medical Center, and later Torrance Memorial Medical Center. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, foodie trips, and just spending time with family and friends when ever she got a chance. She was the life of every party and made friends where ever she went with her unique charm and candid ability to turn any situation into a positive with her infectious laugh and one of a kind jokes. We are all devastated by Joan’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of medical expenses and funeral service. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. On behalf of our family, in these most devastating and humble of circumstances, we have setup this GoFundMe campaign to help ask for any donations whatsoever to help ensure a celebration of Joan’s life with a memorial and funeral. All of the funds from this campaign will go directly towards memorial and funeral expenses, as well as support services for her son, DeAndre. We want to give Joan the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
