My darling Corgi-Pom, Ms. Foxy, is my medical alert service dog who walks me and wakes me up if I quit breathing, so she is very important to me. In addition to her "job," she is a lovely spirit, loving and caring toward mostly everyone she encounters. She's funny and charming, intelligent and loving.
And now, sadly, she is ill. She is suffering from pancreatitis and a few other little things and we've been to the vet twice this week. We need to return next week for more tests and x-rays to get her kidneys and pancreas working properly again.
Several vets have told me, even sick as she's been for the past couple of weeks, that she is in excellent condition for her age and if we can get her over this hump will go on for several more years. I've met people who had a Corgi-Pom very like Foxy who lived to be 23! Foxy is 15. But her spirit is strong and good.
So, bottom line, her medical bills are eating into my rent money, and we need your help with this.
(Foxy says she would write this herself but her paws won't fit on my keyboard.)
Thank you in advance for anything you can donate to help me keep Ms. Foxy alive and thriving.
