Friends, I am asking for your help, please. My close family friends are in need of our support. Some of you might know Ahram Babaev and Zhenya Ostromogilskaya. Those of you that know them, I am sure you know how compassionate, giving, and caring they are. Now, is the time when they need our help.
Last week, Ahram was on his way to work when he suddenly felt some pain in his chest. The pain was excruciating and unbearable so he went to the hospital. His life completely changed that day as his doctor told him that he needed open heart surgery due to heart complications. Thankfully, the operation went well, but there is still a long road for recovery. The procedure has taken a serious physical toll on him and he will not be able to do simple daily tasks, driving, and etc for the next few months. Everything happened so quickly that neither he nor his family had the time to prepare or plan.
Ahram is a hard working family man. He and his family are some of the kindest and most welcoming people. He has two children attending university and a four year old daughter at home. The family has been shocked and worried to say the least. Ahram has prided himself on providing for his family, but this will no longer be a possibility as he recovers. He has been the sole provider as Zhenya has been out of work. Zhenya will have to be the primary caregiver for her husband and will be unable to return to work during this time. The many medical bills and the loss of income will take a great toll on everyone. The uncertainty of how long the recovery will take also will create significant financial and emotional distress on their family.
This has been a true nightmare for their family and their friends. I hope that we as a community can help support this wonderful man and his family in a time of need. Ahram is one of the most generous people I have met and will always help someone in need without hesitation. I wanted to do the same for him and his family, and hope others will as well. So please let's support this family by contributing even a few dollars during this difficult time. All proceeds will be used to cover his medical expenses and treatments.
