Dear Friends, I’m writing you from the hospital.

I think most of you know just how much I hate to ask for help. I’d much rather be offering help to you or others, but unfortunately tonight I find myself in a spot I never expected to be in.
I survived a variety of health issues prior to bariatric surgery, which really turned my health around for the better. In the last few months kidney stones unexpectedly arrived and changed my health game again. I haven't broadcasted the news about the kidney stones quite like I did while enduring the "Great Toe Saga.”
Since March I have had three surgeries, been in the ER twice, and now find myself in the hospital. I have been at North Kansas City Hospital since Tuesday afternoon when I developed a fairly scary infection brought on by a stent in my left kidney. The infection wrecked my blood work and put me in the ER with 103° fever. I am currently receiving IV antibiotics and am hopeful that I will get out on Monday.
Even with my insurance the medical bills have added up and are taking their toll. Along with the medical expenses I have an old house with a cedar front porch that began to collapse and required some emergency work to keep it from becoming dangerous. That repair will be at or above $5000.00 when completed.
I know things are hard for everyone. It is emotionally crushing for me to have to ask for help in this way, but here I am. If you can help in any way, it is greatly appreciated. Whether you can donate or share, both are amazing, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you have questions or input please contact me here, on Facebook, Instagram or via phone.
Very humbly yours,
Bryan
