I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My little brother Nicolas Wiens was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident yesterday that has left him with severe injuries and mounting medical bills.
Nick has always been passionate about riding bikes even though it scares all of us. Yesterday he washed it and went to drive around the block to dry it off and someone ran a light. He was ejected off the bike. The accident has left him with multiple compound fractures, and other extensive injuries still many of which are still not known, and a long road to recovery.
As he battles through his first surgery today at 3pm and the emotional toll of this traumatic event my family is trying to support him any way we can. Due to him not having medical insurance the bills are already starting. He will not be able to work or pay his bills and this is extremely overwhelming for him.
Please consider donating anything to help my brother towards his recovery and medical bills. Any contribution would make a meaningful difference in his journey towards recovery as he tries to get back on his feet. Let's try to rally together and show Nick that he is not along in his fight.
Thank you for your generosity and feel free to reach out to me for more information.
Thanks so much,
Kimberly Courter
Update on my brother: After a 7+ hr surgery they put a rod from his hip all the way down his leg to fix the compound femur break. They also repaired the compound break in his wrist which are both on his right side. He has a broken left shoulder which will heal on its own but will be splinted. He will have a platform walker where he will have to get around by putting his elbows down on it. Still looking for more breaks and may need more surgeries so recovery will be long. Still worried about his right lung as well. Please donate if you can to help.

Sorry for the late post. Today was rough. He is on his second blood transfusion and just got sent for
another CT scan. Now his other arm may be broken as well.
Update 5/28/24
Nick is doing better but still has a long road. He is currently in rehab and is learning to walk again. He still needs help if you are able,
