Dear Friend, Please Read...

Dear Friend, As you know by now my sweet "Soul Kitty" Charlie passed away 4 weeks ago. I am still grieving the loss of the sweetest, most beautiful, gentle, loving. charismatic cat companion I have ever known.
Having said that, I want to say that doing this kind of "fund" thing is not "me" and I am kind of embarrassed to be seeking help. It was not an easy thing for me to do and I had to swallow my pride. If you don't think this is appropriate for me to be doing, I apologize to you.
If you know me you will know that I was out of work for 2 years, used up most of my savings to live on. I also lost my car in a bad accident on The Merrit Parkway and had to buy a new(used) car. No car, no transportation, no job, no money. You get the idea. I am now gainfully employed and finally getting back on my feet...slowly. My savings account is growing very slowly due to debts from being out of work.
My poor Charlie was sick for about 6 months. My long time vet allowed me to put his bill on a "tab". There were tests, ultrasounds, medications, hospitalization, surgeries, blood work, etc. You get the picture.
Very, unfortunately, Charlie didn't pull through and I am now left with a vet bill that is twice the amount that I have money for besides the anguish of having lost my boy.
Any kind of small donation would be gratefully accepted at this time. I am attempting to sell some things that I own to raise money but that takes time and aggravation. As I said, I am not proud to be doing this at all but I am over my head with bills and saw this as a viable option to a time-sensitive issue.
If you see fit to send a small donation in honor of Charlie, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I thank you for your kindness and generosity. I thank you for your friendship.
If you do not, that's ok too. I understand and I am definitely still your friend.
IMPORTANT - I am not putting this up on my FaceBook page. I am sending it to individuals via FaceBook messenger. You may share this with friends via FaceBook messenger but please don't put it up on your wall as I'm feeling a little bit sensitive about doing this in the first place.
Thank you and I am sending you much love, dear friend.
Michael
