Funeral expenses for my father James Gilbert

Dear friends and family,
I am writing to you this evening to let you know that my father James Gilbert Sr. loss his life in a tragic car accident last week. James was a son, brother, father and friend who touched those around him. I learned a lot from him as far as leadership, goal setting and the importance of putting family first.
My family and I are absolutely devastated by James Gilbert Sr. passing and are struggling to find funds to cover the cost of the services. Unfortunately, my father did not have any life insurance and my family and I have to pay out of pocket. We were able to get the balance to a little under $6,000 dollars for the funeral expenses. We will need to pay all funeral costs by Thursday January 14th 2021
The funeral service will be held on Friday January 15th 2021. My family and I have started a fundraiser to collect donations for James funeral service. (insert the gofundme link here)
