In September 2013 my mom, Deantha Warner, was diagnosed with Leukemia. After several long months of chemotherapy and recovery, she kicked cancers butt and was pronounced in remission!
Two years later, we got the news that the Leukemia had returned....
So now, after a meeting with the awesome Dr. Chen at Mass General, we begin the long road to kicking cancer's butt (again - because we will).
No negative thoughts - prognosis is still good for a full cure - only good vibes and well wishes are allowed!!! But for those who wish and are able to give a bit more, we've decided to set up this account to make it simple and easy.

Treatment this time around will include a month of chemotherapy in Maine, a bone marrow transplant followed by a month of in-patient care at Mass General in Boston, two month's of out-patient care in Boston, then finally several months of at-home rest and recovery back in Maine. Whew! But she will make it, with our support :)
The money collected will be used for;
Gas and expenses from Maine to Mass General for visiting family (300 miles round trip plus $13 in tolls)
Meals for family visiting in Boston at cafeteria or nearby fast food
Living expenses for two months of out-patient care in Boston (lodging, groceries, parking, and gas)
Medical expenses when long-term disability begins (premiums and deductable)
Inexpensive entertainment while stuck in the hospital (sudoku books, kindle books, any silly hobbies you think she should learn - my vote was kniting, so she can be useful)
Even if you can't donate $$ don't feel bad! Positive thoughts and uplifting words are just as appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read through, and if you see my mom, give her a hug for me x
