Dean Suko' s HandicapVan Conversion

Dean was in an accident on November 4th 1989. The accident left him with spinal cord injury resulting him being completely paralized on his right side. After 12 months in the hospital he was able to move into his independent living appartment in Fargo ND where he still resides today. For many years Dean was able to get around with his van converted to accommodate the use of only his left hand and foot. Over the years his muscles have weakened and has made it very difficult for him to maintain his independance and for him to use a manual wheelchair. In research he has found a company Braunability (https://www.braunability.com/) that can do a conversion to his vehicle that accomodates power wheelchair accessibility. This conversion will make it possible for him to continue driving himself. He has been awarded a $5,000 grant to help with this but the total cost is $25,000 for the conversion. Any donations received will help him with the cost. It is scheduled to start June 8th 2017 and will be completed within 4 weeks. Lets help Dean cover these expences so he can maintain his independence by being able to continue to drive.
