Hey, Friends! Lacey here…my mom is absolutely going to kill me for this, but after talking to her, I know this has to be done.

As you know, dad (Dean) has been hospitalized for almost 3 weeks at this point. For full updates, we have a caring bridge set up here https://www.caringbridge.org/public/deankolden

Mom has been out of work during this and we are still waiting on disability to be approved for dad.

To add to the stress, last night while leaving my house, the transmission went out on her truck. We were able to tow it back here, but now she has another expense on top of all the medical bills that are flowing in. She currently has no alternative form of transportation to get down to Minneapolis and back everyday until we can get this fixed.
