Dean's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On November 5th, Dean was driving down a backroad on his motorcycle when suddenly a car pulled out from a sidestreet to cross over, giving him little time to react, causing a horrific accident.
He was rushed to a trauma hospital where he sustained major injuries from a separated AC joint in his shoulder, a dislocated elbow, major trauma and lacerations to the groin, and nerve damage in the legs, feet and back. There is a long road of recovery ahead for him to regain full use of his arms and legs.
The lawyer who helped with his case, reviewed all of the information and found that there was very little they could do to help for the loss of wages and medical bills from the driver that was 100% at fault. Since they didn’t have any coverage, they decided not to assist him moving forward, notifying him just after Christmas.
At the time of his accident, he was on his way to an interview to go back to school, but this has reset his timeline and hurt his family financially. He’s lost more than just money, he lost something that can’t be replaced…time, time with his family. Just days after his accident was his daughter's 4th birthday, which he was unable to spend with her. He can't pick up his children and play with them. He lost the ability to provide for his family and now all of the responsibility falls on the shoulders of his wife, which is a lot of weight for any one person to bear on their own.
Between the loss of wages and medical bills that are already piling up, we ask for any help that anyone would be willing to give.
