Elite Runner Deanna Ardrey Needs Surgery

Thank you so much for being here!

Two-time Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier Deanna Ardrey suffered a devastating fall on Mount Sanitas last week.  She suffered a tibial pilon fracture, a fibula fracture, as well as torn cartilage.  As a dedicated, elite runner, with top placements in many races (including 5th place at the US Mountain Running Championships), Deanna is no stranger to hard work and overcoming pain.  She’s trained intensively while also mentoring others on fitness and nutrition and working as a dental hygienist.

With specialized surgery, physical therapy along with her trademark dedication, Deanna can recover her leg and ankle functionality and lace up her shoes again, ready to face fierce competition.  Yet, the costs of this specialized surgery and physical therapy are astronomical — and while Deanna has long juggled rugged workouts with her dental hygienist work, she lacks insurance to help cover the costs of this essential recovery care.

Any assistance toward the mounting medical bills would be greatly appreciated.  Your generosity can help Deanna recover so she can run and inspire again.
