Hello everyone on the behalf of the Schwanker family I regretfully write that my step mom Deanna Schwanker passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. Her death comes very unexpectedly as she had only been diagnosed less than 2 months ago and she was going to start treatment a couple of weeks ago before she took a turn for the worst. Initially we thought we had 8-13 months with her but it ended up being only 2-3 weeks. This as you can expect has been a huge financial burden for my dad and my whole family. All my family wants is to be able to mourn my step mom who’s loss leaves a huge hole in all of our hearts but the stress of how quickly this all happened has made this process even harder than it already is. Earlier this year my dad underwent heart surgery and then had a heart attack which caused him to be in out of the hospital and out of work. During this time my step mom was out of work and taking care of my dad. My dad was just returning to work when my step mom’s health started to deteriorate even quicker which caused him then to have to take time off again. We are hoping to be able to peacefully bury my step mom without having to stress over finances especially because of my dad’s pre existing heart conditions he can not afford to be more stressed than he already is.Deanna is one of the most selfless people you would have ever met. She constantly put others before herself to ensure everyone was well taken care of going above and beyond in the way she loved and cared for the one she loved. Deanna lived without compromise and wore her heart on her sleeve which made so many people loved, admired, and appreciated having her in their lives. Anything donated would be much appreciated from my entire family but if you can’t donate we’d also appreciate just share to get seen by as many people as possible.
