This week is hard, as we the family of my great nephew, De’Angelo Vernon Walker, as we say good bye to him. De’Angelo  was a victim of crime in that he was murdered on the Streets of Oakland, California on February 6, 2018. My heat hurts because no parent should lose a child in a a very vicious way.  My parents, De’Angelo’s grandparents, always said it takes a village to raise a child. De’Angelo leaves behind his grieving parents, and his 7 plus siblings who ranges from twins, 1 years old to several adults. Thanks for taking the time to read this story .
