DeAndre Brown is an Active Duty Staff Sergeant and firefighter in the United States Air Force. He recently moved to the United Kingdom for his permanent change of station in early September of this year.

While in-processing his new base overseas, he received news that his mother had a medical emergency and was in critical condition. DeAndre immediately returned to the states but his mother was in a coma under medical care. Doctors tried various medical procedures and medications to help his mother but were unable to revive her to a state of consciousness.

After his mother's passing and the funeral, DeAndre prepared to return overseas to his permanent duty station in the UK. A few days before his projected departure, while staying at his late mother's house, a fire broke out in his sister's bedroom. DeAndre and his family made it out of the home safely and unharmed but the all of his belongings as well as most of the house were lost to the fire damage.

The heartache of losing his mother that DeAndre had to endure as well as the loss of his mother's home have caused unimaginable pain and stress for him. I am creating this GoFundMe to help DeAndre and his family pay for his mother's funeral costs, replace some of the items lost in the house fire as well as some of the legal fees to transfer ownership of the property, and help pay for his emergency overseas travel costs.
