Hello everyone! Today we are reaching out to ask for your support in helping cover the medical costs for our baby who is in need of a critical procedure. We recently learned that our 1-year old, Dean, has a cataract in his left eye. This is something he was born with, but since he's still a baby, it requires immediate surgery. Without the surgery, vision will not have a chance to develop in that eye and he will ultimately be legally blind on that side. However, the prognosis is good! It is going to be a long road of contact lenses, eye therapies, and another surgery when he is around 6, but the doctors believe that - with surgery now - he will be able to have normal vision. Praise God! The surgery is scheduled for April. We are still paying off his birth and the hospital stay he had at 10 days old, so the cost of this surgery is overwhelming.
