Hi!
We're the Year 5 Class at Dean Valley Community Primary School.
Last October, Mr Hasler, the Year 4 teacher at our school (who taught us last year) was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a condition that affects the nerves known as motor neurones. This is a life-changing diagnosis for Mr Hasler and his family.
The whole of the Dean Valley community has pulled together to support Mr Hasler and his family, which is a true testament to the wonderful human being that he is.
On OCTOBER 18th, we are looking forward to supporting him by taking on a 25km walk from Bollington, out to Pyms Chair, along Cats Tor towards Shining Tor and back again to raise money to help him and his family. This will be a huge challenge for us - and our parents - but we want to do anything we can to help support Mr Hasler and his family!
We would love your support and any donation would be welcome and gratefully received.
Thank you!
