Hi everyone - this is Gary Tucker, a lifelong friend of Dean Tello. As many of Dean's friends and family know, Dean was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal Cancer earlier this year (not smoking related). He has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy treatment and will require very serious surgery after the holidays, requiring almost a year of recovery. Dean has been receiving the best treatment available from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, but the best treatment comes with a cost. He has been struggling to keep up, but the medical co-payments have ballooned beyond his reach. He is expected to reach almost $20,000 in medical co-payments between this year and next. On behalf of the many friends and family who have asked how they can help, I am setting up this GoFundMe to assist with his medical bills. The hope is to help Dean stop worrying about finances so he can focus on his recovery.
