Dean Rubio Memorial Fund

Donation protected

On February 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM, we lost Dean to his long 42-day battle with COVID. Dean fought tirelessly to stay here with his family. He is reunited with mother, Geneva, father, Domingo and brother, Dale Rubio; he is survived by his loving wife Melissa, and wonderful children Julian (24), Angela (23), Cecelia (22), Sebastian (18), John (18) and Dax (7).  At the young age of 46, Dean was taken from this life to be with the Lord. Although, we are completely heartbroken, we rejoice in the fact that he is no longer suffering.

To know Dean was to know love and kindness. He was an incredible father, devoted husband and beloved son, brother, uncle and Marine Corp veteran. In April of 2020, Darlene, mother of Angela and Sebastian, passed away due to COVID complications. Our family has been devastated by the events of this past year.

It was uncommon to see Dean without Melissa, they were joined at the hip at all times. Dean preferred to provide for his wife in a way that allowed her to stay at home to care for the children and maintain a loving home; a home that was not prepared for a loss of this magnitude.  The Rubio family appreciates all funds given towards medical, funeral and memorial expenses.

Semper Fi, Dean.
