Support Dean Roberts, in honor of Susan

This is Laurie Wandland, Susan's youngest sister and Dean's aunt. On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Dean made a phone call that no one, especially a 17 year old kid should have to make. "Aunt Laurie, I need you to get here, it's my mom." Over the next 10 minutes he would learn that his mom passed away in her sleep, and that the rest of his life, especially his senior year, would be changed forever. Susan lived her life for Dean. She coached his rec league sports when needed, never missed a game, and sacrificed to ensure that Dean had all that he needed and more. She devoted her talents and gifts to every kid on the team, with many kids and parents referring to her as "Momma Sue." She was the loudest cheerleader, and kept Dean on the straight and narrow. Now, as Dean finishes up his senior year, there will be a need for support from his community. Susan and Dean have worked hard so that he is able to attend college and to complete at least a 2 year certificate. We have been asked over and over, "How can I help?" Right now, I think most physical needs are met through a meal train and a small life insurance policy. We would like to ask, that if you feel compelled to donate, to give to Dean to help cover the costs of his education. I will be managing this fund and will use it only for costs related to his education. Thank you for your consideration.
