If you were to meet Dean Pickering, you would soon be engaged in a lively, mutual conversation about each of your lives. You would feel his genuine desire to want to know you and you would quickly sense what a truly kind man he is.
Dean’s face would light up as he told you what is most important to him — his faith in God, his family, and music.
Dean, just 65 years old, would tell you about his two adult sons, Alex and Michael, and how much he treasures his relationship with them.
Then, with the biggest smile ever, Dean would tell you about his grandchildren, Kenleigh, Samantha, James, and Ryan, who Dean loves with his whole loving, giving heart.
Dean would also tell you about his job with Streamline Publishing, where he has had the opportunity to work with some of the top artists from around the world to create premium art instruction videos and to help produce live art training events. Dean is loved and respected by his work team and his contribution to the company, its people, and to the art world, is significant.
Sadly, Dean is entering the last part of his life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
If you or a loved one have been affected by cancer, you know that it robs its victims of their dreams, and that is certainly true for Dean. Close to the finish line of full-time work, Dean envisioned a long retirement filled with faith, family, friends, travel, and more time to devote to being a musician, composer, and video production artist.
Dean is an active member of Cross Church in Fayetteville, AR, and his faith in God has been a lifelong journey and inspiration to so many.
This GoFundMe aims to provide Dean and his family with financial assistance in the days to come. Funds received will be used for medical bills, in-home care when hospice helpers are not present, and for the inevitable after-death care expenses.
To honor this good man and his life well-lived, we do not want Dean or his family to struggle with financial burdens during this time.
Please find it in your heart to make a donation to this fund, however big or small, and share this page with others.
