Hi, My name is Alison and I'm fundraising for my son Dean. He has lost his right to a county supplied wheelchair, so we now have to fund one for him. Dean is very social and loves to go around the unit with the staff, to visit other residents, he also goes out to his patio area where he has his own flowers to tend to. Which he can not do at the moment, as he is in a manual chair (which he is should only be in a maximum of 10 hours a week), and the staff can not be with him to wheel him around all the time. So he is stuck in one place. So he has decided that is his bed. This has now been going on for 5 months and he has started to be very depressed and does not get out of bed most days. When he does not get out of bed, he does not have any food only fluids. He has started to loose his joy. Please help x
