Dean Montenegro recovery fund
Dear friends,
Dean Montenegro is a devoted father of a newborn baby girl, a faithful and loving husband, a friend to many and a dedicated and hard worker. He is also the sole provider for his family.
On Tuesday 2/18/20, Dean and his family’s lives were irreversibly and catastrophically changed when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, on his way home from work.
Dean suffered a shattered right leg, broken in several places. A broken left leg and kneecap. A broken hand, fractures to both wrists and both ankles. Multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung, head trauma and multiple cuts and lacerations that are at risk of infection. It is a miracle he is alive and has a fighting chance to recover. For that we are grateful and hopeful.
He is currently undergoing the first of many surgeries to stabilize his right leg and is in the hospital undergoing intensive medical treatment.
Dean, is the type of person who never refused to help a person in need.
Dean’s loving wife Josie, will need to raise their infant daughter Ryder, alone for now, while also supporting Dean through his recovery.
Getting through this critical period and subsequent therapy is going take a severe financial toll on the family. As mentioned, Dean is their sole provider and did so by working extra overtime hours. They recently moved into a house to start and raise a family and it involved a 2 hour commute each way. He rode his motorcycle to cut down the time so he could have more with Josie and Ryder.
This fund is to assist his family through this difficult time, long-term rehabilitation and medical needs.
We respectfully ask on behalf of Dean, Josie and Ryder, for any contributions in any amount, no matter how small, that you are comfortable with, along with your prayers, thoughts and wishes for a recovery, which promises to be long and arduous.
Thank you on behalf of the Montenegro family.
Dean, Josie and Ryder Montenegro in happier times.
Please get well Dean. Your family, friends and co-workers love you!
