In memory of Dean Jordan
We at Mayfield Design Group were honored to have Dean as part of our Team and family. It was for only a short period of time but it seemed like he was here from our inception.
I was one of the very few in the industry who didn’t know him before he came to Mayfield Design Group. I don’t think I have been on any job since then that he didn’t know someone or some one knew him. His personality was bigger than he was.
The quality that I loved most about Dean was how much he cared. He cared about his work and what that meant for the client and home owner. He cared about his team members and job crew. He made sure that they were treated fairly . He cared about their family and was close friends with most of them. But most of all he cared about his family including his big sister Kristen Conti, Brother-in-Law David Conti and father, Gerry, who all live on the west coast and his mother, Phyllis with whom he lived, and took care of. Most of all he cared about and loved so much, his daughter, Brianne. He was so proud of her. He was always giving us updates about her in college and going up to see her at school every chance he could.
It is with great sadness that we start this Go Fund Me page for Deano! He cared so much for all of us and we want to help his family with current bills and to allow Brianne, his devoted daughter, to finish college. If all of us contribute what we can, we can help support the family of a man who always took time to care for others.
Thank you,
Bill Mayfield

Dean Michael Jordan was born the son of Gerald J and Phyllis A Jordan on Christmas Eve of 1969. He was my little brother and I was so excited to hold him in my arms when my parents brought him home. Our bond began that day and continued for the rest of our lives together.
Dean was a man with a huge heart and though he made a good wage, he spent it taking care of my mother and his daughter Brianne who is current enrolled at The University of Florida in Gainesville. He and Mom lived together to pool their resources to make sure Brianne had the chance for an amazing college experience. It truly has been our family’s goal, as she is an amazing girl who is the center of our universe.
Dean passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Mother’s Day of this year leaving his two parents, daughter and myself with broken hearts and lost dreams.
We had planned for he and Mom to relocate to Englewood Beach in 5 years so that we could spent quality family time together…a plan that will never come to fruition now.
Unfortunately Dean did not have a plan in place because as many people his age think, he thought he still had time. This has left his daughter and my Mom in a challenging financial position. While my husband and I will do all we can, we do not want Brianne strapped with college debt and we have many obligations that need to be met as a result of his untimely death.
His biggest dream was to watch his daughter walk across the stage and receive her diploma as a Florida Gator. And then to walk her down the aisle one day when she got married.
We as a family are givers so it is not easy to ask for help. But now we are in a position that we must.
Dean’s employer Mayfield Design Group owned by Bill Mayfield and his wonderful team called Brianne to let her know they would be setting up a fund in Dean’s honor for her. We are most grateful for this generous gesture of kindness.
If you would like to honor Dean with your gift of any amount, our family would greatly appreciate it and we know Dean will be smiling down on you from his place in heaven.
Most sincerely,

Kristen Conti (Dean’s Only & Favorite Older Sister)
