A few words from Jimmy and Jack Gillan
Dean Gillan Constable (Chippy) was our younger cousin; we all grew up together and called ourselves the Three Amigos. Dean was only 27, and on Friday 18th March, he was cruelly taken from this world very suddenly. We are truly heartbroken and are finding it very difficult to deal with.
He leaves behind a 6-year-old son Freddie Dean and a devastated family. Dean was a dad, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and a great friend to many, and he will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
We have created this Go Fund Me Page to raise money for his funeral and are doing this to raise as much as possible for his mum Lesley, brothers Jason and Jim Bob and the Gillan family to fulfil that wish.
It is hard asking for your support at this very difficult time, but we would be so grateful for your kindness and any help you can offer; even the smallest amount will go a long way.
The funds will go to the cost of Dean’s funeral as we want to give him the best send-off possible. That is what he deserves, and we hope you can help us achieve that goal.
None of us expects to lose someone so young and suddenly, and it is tough to understand it. If funds are left, the overall proceeds will go into an account for Freddie Dean.
Dean was such a sweet and kind soul, he loved his moped, and he would drive all over West London, generally on one wheel! LOL. He was a big foodie lover, always eating out and loved all different cuisines. Dean was a huge PlayStation fan and loved his gaming; he would challenge us on the UFC game. We always battled who was the best! He loved freestyle rapping to instrumental music, we used to have so much fun making up the different raps; he was always full of jokes and laughter.
Dean was a devoted son to Lesley and his son Freddie Dean, whom he loved so much. Last year, he tragically lost his dad, our uncle Gary Gillan, and he found his death, which was also sudden very difficult to come to terms with. We will at his funeral all come together to celebrate both Dean's life and remember Gary.
Thank you for reading our page on behalf of Lesley and the Gillan family.
We love you, Dean; Rest in Peace, our beautiful cousin. x
