Dean Bobisud's Memorial Costs & Medical Bills

Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that Dean passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18th - he was surrounded by his family in his home in the Valley - where he lived most of his life. We found out, a few weeks ago, that in addition to the debilitating traumatic brain injury, he’s been battling a stage four metastatic cancer.

Over the past two years, since his motorcycle accident, the family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from his friends - we are deeply grateful for your support during these difficult times.

Anyone who knew him knew that he lived a big life! We know you’ve all heard an epic story or two from Dean. He was a one of a kind guy, with a keen appreciation for a good prank. A hard-worker, he built his pizza business from the ground up, providing opportunities to many reading this now.

Most of you also know Dean was also a life-long Rush fan (and that's an understatement). For over a decade he toured with Chromey - Neil Peart’s first drum kit - raising funds for the American Cancer Society and others in need. Dean loved to share this treasure from his favorite band and encouraged any and all to play or sit behind the kit. He was quick to lend a hand to friends, family, and the community. But most importantly, he had the biggest heart.

As much as he enjoyed riding his Goldwing and going to Rush concerts - his three kids were his world and he dedicated his life to them. He was the best dad to Allie, Randy, and Ashley. There was nothing he loved more than his family, his cats, riding his bike in the great outdoors, and, of course, Rush.

The family is planning to host services at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home in Lisle, IL - so everyone can share their Dean stories and say ‘see you later’ one last time. We are still working out the details but hope to have services within a week or so.

We are starting this fund to help cover arrangements as well as outstanding medical bills resulting from his accident. Contributions of any size will make a difference. We are humbled & grateful for any support you are able to provide.

With love & rock and roll,
The Bobisud Family
