Dean and Michelle Baker and their two children live on a farm East of Beatrice. On Saturday August 12th, Dean was working on the barn when a telephone pole supporting the structure fell and landed on his leg and feet. He was Life-flighted to Lincoln due to a torn artery and compound fractures in his right leg. They discovered that he also had 20 broken bones in his right foot and 4 broken bones in his left foot. He has had to undergo several surgeries and
another surgery soon to repair his right foot. As you can imagine there will be months of recovery, rehabilitation and physical therapy in his future. Although Dean has insurance , there are additional expenses and lost wages involved with the family traveling to and from Lincoln to support Dean in his recovery. Because of this we are asking for the support of friends and loved ones to donate what they can to help the Baker family through this difficult time. Prayers for healing are appreciated as well.
