We are a group of five students from Swinburne University of Technology, currently studying the Diploma of Film and Television. As part of our assessment, we are making a short film with a total runtime of 5 minutes. Details below.

Dean and the Dollarbirds is an offbeat comedy about a Melbourne musician in hiding who struggles with his decision to begin performing again.

STORY:

Graham Linger, the guitarist of the rock and roll group- Dean and the

Dollarbirds, lives like a hermit after vanishing from the public eye, spending his

days at a derelict junkyard. When his band mates come to convince Graham

to return, he complains of the pressures and declines of live music in

Melbourne.
