Helping Street Cats in Karachi

We are new, but the need is great.

DeafHelpCat Pakistan is a young, privately initiated cat rescue project based in Karachi. The project is currently still in its early stages, and at the same time an application with a local animal welfare NGO in Karachi is pending.

Even now, injured and vulnerable street cats are being rescued directly from the streets. The cats live in a rented three-room apartment, which is used exclusively as a safe shelter for them.

So far, most of the costs have been covered personally, including:

• Rent and electricity

• Cat food and litter

• Veterinary and medical treatment costs
