Hello friends, family, and supporters,

We are students from Melbourne United: Sport and Business Diploma course, a passionate and determined group of young adults breaking barriers. We are leading a major project to raise funds for the Deaf Australian Basketball Team: the Geckos. We're fundraising to help cover the costs of training, travel, accommodation, uniforms, and tournament fees for the Olympics in Japan in November this year. The team do not currently receive any government funding as they aim to prepare to help the Deaf Basketball Australia team on the international stage. One of our Diploma students plays for the Deaf Basketball Australia team and so this makes the project more personal to us.
