Deaf Rainbow NSW needs help for World Pride

Deaf Rainbow NSW is heading to World Pride in Sydney in February 2023! It is time to shine a light on our Deaf and Hard of Hearing LGBTQI+ family. Language is what unites a culture, whether spoken, visual, or written; the Deaf community is no different; Auslan unites us. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of the LGBTQI+ community communicates via sign, and Deaf Rainbow feels that World Pride is the perfect opportunity to reach as many friends, family and allies that are looking for their tribe.

However, this inclusivity means overcoming challenges. Financially Deaf Rainbow could do with a helping hand; Pride is always an expensive event, and we need a helping hand. The money raised through this go fund me will be used to organize events, provide accommodations such as interpreters and prepare our float for the main parade!

The team of volunteers is cheap and are paid with smiles and good times, but unfortunately, everything else costs! If you have some spare change, please pass it on. No amount is too small, and it all adds up at the end of the day.
