URGENT - July 3rd Deadline: Help Feed the Horses!

(Tibet and Blondie were rescued from probable slaughter as long-yearlings. They had 2 strikes and were facing their 3rd which would have stripped them of all their protections so they could have been shipped to slaughter.)
4th of July is Thursday and the horses must have hay delivered before the long holiday weekend starts! That means they need the hay delivery by Wednesday July 3rd so they don't run out of food! Please Help! Please Donate. This is urgent!
Now that the Grazing Project is over, the horses need more hay! The last load of hay was very grassy with little alfalfa so they have been eating twice as much.
Buying hay by the bale is very expensive in California. We can’t find round bales and we don’t have the equipment to move them. 3-tie bales here are about 105 pounds and the rescued horses gobble them up. The horses need to get good hay in bulk by at least the 80 bale block delivered and stacked away from the deer ASAP. They also need some barrels of grain for their vitamins and other supplements. We’ve noticed the mustangs thrive in captivity with good hay and some supplemental grain. Grain runs about $100 a barrel and those barrels go fast. Your donations will make it happen for the rescued horses. (Keep in mind that Go Fund Me takes 2.9% plus .30 cents per transaction according to their terms of service. ) Because we are volunteers, all the money raised goes to their food!

We have been doing a lot of education and outreach with the rescued horses which means lots of extra feedings. Please donate today for hay to feed the horses!

Your donations provide direct aid by bringing the horses food to eat. Blondie, Tibet, Val, Sol, Amore and the others send you so much love and gratitude for helping them. Thank you and Bless you!

Anne Novak
